American Council of Teachers of Russian (ACTR).
ACTR is a professional organization of university and secondary school educators and specialists in Russian language and area studies. The site is operated in conjunction with the American Council for Collaboration in Education and Language Study. ACCELS is a private, non-profit educational association devoted to improving education, professional training, and research within and about the Russian speaking world including the many score of non-Russian cultures and populations of Eastern and Central Europe and Eurasia

AATSEEL-American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages
The American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL), founded in 1941, exists to advance the study and promote the teaching of Slavic and East European languages, literatures, and cultures on all educational levels, elementary through graduate school. While the largest proportion of its activities and members concentrate in the area of Russian, AATSEEL has from the beginning stressed that it embraces all Slavic and East European languages, literatures, linguistics and cultures.

National Association of Teachers of English in Russia (NATE Russia)
NATE is a professional association of teachers of English in Russia working in different regions and at different levels: pre-school, secondary school, higher education, further education, additional education. Its mission is to promote English language teaching and to develop the expertise of its members and other ELT professionals in Russia. NATE is an affiliate of TESOL and works in close cooperation with the British Council and the English Language Office of Public Affairs Section at the USA Embassy in Moscow.
